A Confusing Array of Butterflies

This artwork documents the automated digitization of the insect collections at the Museum für Naturkunde, Berlin. By distorting words from biology books, the work highlights humans' use of camouflage and mimicry for survival. The work challenges the boundaries of closed categorizations and the need to disrupt them to create space for other perspectives.

Exhibited in Bugs & Metamorphosis: Glitching Photography, at Hasselblad Center, Feb-May 2025 and at Kunsthal Aarhus, Jun-Dec 2025.
